Hi, I’m Sama, a multidisciplinary designer, creative strategist, and storyteller based in the Bay Area. I recently earned my MFA in design, and I’m excited to collaborate on meaningful projects at the intersection of culture, social impact, and design.
I specialize in transforming ideas into narratives, products, and experiences that build connection and provoke change. Whether through UX, brand strategy, or content creation, I’m passionate about inclusive design and creative work that resonates.
Currently working across marketing, social media, and research strategy (👋 Rootkeepers + Design Bay Area), I also run my creative newsletter (Speaking Easy) and design consulting services.
When I’m not designing, I’m probably traveling & taking countless photos, investing in a new hobby (right now, I'm obsessed with ikebana), or writing on Substack.
